Our Research at CEEGS 2025

At the CEEGS 2025 conference, which took place in Wroclaw on 8-10 September 2025, our members presented three papers (see the full list below).

Tereza Fousek Krobová, Jan Houška, Jan Švelch, and Jaroslav Švelch presented their research on the Brno video game cluster, which is part of the GAME-ER project. This talk addressed the tensions between informal and formal values in the Brno developer community based on two snapshots: (1) the push for professionalization related to publishing deals with Western companies in the late 1990s, and (2) the establishment of the formal organization representing the cluster and its involvement in policy discussions in the 2020s.
